Gibraltar High, a small school in Fish Creek, Wisc., made it to the sectional finals last season for the first time since 1979, falling just one hit short of a trip to state. Jay Kita, now in his 13th year as the school’s head baseball coach, said the breakthrough was about more than just talent.
It was about commitment.
It was about pride of ownership.
